Dr. Allen Amorn joined Oschner-LSU Health Shreveport in 2020 as a Cardiac Electrophysiologist. Dr. Amorn recieved his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Medical University in Rootstown Ohio. He trained as an Internal Medicine resident at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He trained as a Cardiology Fellow at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. He completed his training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
His clinical interests include atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, palpitations, syncope, supraventricular tachycardia, and cardiac implanted electronic devices. I believe innovative problem solving and team management are cornerstones to individualized cardiac care. Dr. Amorn was recognized for his clinical care with the Excellence in Medicine Award by Mercy Health Physicians.
