Arielle Cora DuBose, MD

Dr. Arielle DuBose is Assistant Professor of Trauma Acute Care Surgery/Colorectal Surgery and the Director of Undergraduate Medical Education at LSU Health Shreveport. She is a native of Houston, Texas, where she attended the High School for the Performing Arts as a violin performance major. She did her undergraduate work at Wellesley College in Massachusetts and the great University of Texas at Austin (hook 'em!). After graduating with honors, she went back to Houston to attend the University of Texas John C. McGovern Medical School where she also played violin in the Doctors' Orchestra of Houston.Dr. DuBose trained at LSU Health Shreveport, for her general surgery residency and completed a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Florida Hospital Orlando. Dr. DuBose is board certified in both general surgery and colon and rectal surgery. When she is not taking trauma call or operating for colorectal pathologies, she is riding her horses, playing violin, or spending time with her partner Travis and their children.
