Prior to medical school, Dr. Donley was employed in various medicine-related fields, including nursing assistant, cardiology technologist, respiratory technologist, and 10 years as a medical technologist with a specialty license in Blood Banking. She has more than 40 years experience in medicine including 20 years as an internist. Her medical training was local at LSUHSC in Shreveport, where she finished an Internal Medicine residency in 2000. Dr. Donley is an active member of Woodridge Baptist Church, where she sings in the choir, and has done volunteer work with the Voice of the Martyrs and the Louisiana Baptist Disaster Relief Organization. Since 2003, she has served annually at a mission in Cordoba, Mexico, both as a medical professional and an assistant in ministry in some local churches. She has 2 grown children who are both teachers. Dr. Donley enjoys reading, music, and knitting/cross-stitching.Dr. Donley's areas of interest include Adult General Medicine (including common chronic medical problems), recommended health screening procedures, coordination of care, preoperative clearance exams, recommended adult vaccines, blood disorders, and radiology exams when appropriate. She specializes in procedures such as EKG, joint aspiration and injection, wound care, phlebotomy, and minor dermatology procedures.
