Geoff McLeod, DO, CAQSM has recently separated from the United States Air Force after 8 years of active-duty service, and will join the Primary Care Sports Medicine team here at Oschner LSU Health Shreveport. Dr. McLeod specializes in nonoperative musculoskeletal and neurologic injuries, sport related concussion, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasonography, ultrasound guided procedures, and alternative integrative medicine. He is trained in Osteopathic Manual Therapy, auricular, Chinese scalp, neuromuscular, and traditional acupuncture. His practice combines advanced medical management and diagnostic imaging with integrative therapies including medical acupuncture and Osteopathic Manual Therapy in effort to achieve the least invasive and quickest return to active living, work, and sport.

I really liked the degree of detail I was given about my shoulder issue, just not the fact that it left me in more pain than I was in when I went in to see him. I wish the pain had been addressed more thoroughly as therapy on my shoulder will likely cause more pain before it is over and I am in a wheelchair and need that shoulder and arm to wheel my chair!!!

Dr.Mccloud is superb doctor. He takes time, listens and answers all my concerns. He goes above and beyond to make sure I understand and agrees with his care plan. He give me options to chose from and opportunity to ask questions. I highly recommend Dr.McCloud to friends, family, or others that would benefit from the health care he provides. Dr.Mcclouds resident also did a good job -pleasent, respectful, and concerned demeanor-listening to my health issues and relaying it to Dr.McCloud.

Wonderful doctor! He listened to all of my concerns and thoroughly explained his decision making process and why he was diagnosing the way he was. He shared wonderful advise on how to treat my son. He gave me several "tips and tricks". He did not rush us at all. Wonderful experience!
