As chief executive officer, Chuck Daigle oversees our healthcare delivery system in our hospitals, as well as our ambulatory surgery and diagnostic centers.
He brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare management and health insurance to his role. He holds both a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Louisiana State University.
Mark Randolph oversees the healthcare delivery system at Monroe Medical Center as its CEO.
He brings nearly 15 years of experience in senior healthcare leadership and has held positions at our Academic Medical Center for more than 30 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in cardiopulmonary sciences and a Master of Business Administration degree from LeTourneau University.
As chief operations officer, Aphreikah Duhaney-West oversees daily operations of the Academic Medical Center. She ensures that all our teams have the resources needed to provide the care our patients expect and deserve, and promotes safety and satisfaction with all we do. She has held many hospital and health system leadership positions since 2005 and holds a Master of Business Administration degree in healthcare management, as well as master’s and bachelor’s degrees in nursing science.
As chief medical officer, David F. Lewis, MD, oversees all medical operations of the Academic Medical Center. Dr. Lewis has more than 27 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, with special interest in maternal-fetal medicine. Dr. Lewis was born in Shreveport, and he obtained his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University – Shreveport and his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. Michael O’Neal oversees medical operations at Monroe Medical Center as the hospital’s chief medical officer. Dr. O’Neal specializes in internal medicine with a focus in hospital medicine. Dr. O’Neal is a native of West Monroe, Louisiana, and attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. LaTashia Upton oversees the medical operation of the St. Mary Medical Center campus in Shreveport as the hospital's chief medical officer. Dr. Upton is a board-certified OB/GYN and a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. She earned her medical doctorate at LSU Health Science Center, where she also completed her residency.
