Ochsner LSU Health is proud to welcome three new physicians to its team, expanding access to specialized care in the Monroe area and surrounding communities.

Melissa Di Santo, MD, joins as a primary care physician. She will see patients at Ochsner LSU Health – Monroe Medical Center.

Dr. Di Santo earned her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine, Saba Dutch Caribbean. She completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, N.Y., and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).

Cory Fernandes, DO, joins the team as a primary care physician. He will see patients at Ochsner LSU Health – Monroe Medical Center.

Dr. Fernandes earned his medical degree from Touro University Nevada in Henderson, Nevada. He completed his residency in family medicine at TIGMER – Laredo in Laredo, Texas. Following his residency, Dr. Fernandes completed a fellowship in sports medicine at LSU Health Shreveport. Fernandes is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
