Cynthia Noguera, MD

Cynthia Noguera, MD is an oculofacial plastic surgeon in North Louisiana, specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, tear ducts, orbit (eye socket), and face. A Louisiana native, she earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from LSU in Baton Rouge. She furthered her education with a second bachelor's degree in Cardiopulmonary Science from LSU Health Sciences Center School of Allied Health in Shreveport, and afterward worked as a respiratory therapist and asthma educator—experiences that deepened her passion for patient-centered care Dr. Noguera completed a master’s degree in Medical Science at Mississippi College, followed by her medical degree and ophthalmology residency at LSU Health Shreveport. She then completed a highly specialized two-year fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hamilton Eye Institute, University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, and Tennessee Oculoplastics in Nashville. Dr. Noguera offers a full range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures involving the eyelids, tear duct system, orbit (eye socket), and surrounding facial structures. She has a particular passion for aesthetic eyelid and facial rejuvenation, and is recognized for her expertise in advanced eyelid surgery techniques.
