Shashank Cingam, MBBS

Shashank Cingam, MD, is a clinician and clinical investigator who specializes in cellular therapies and hematopoietic stem cell transplants to treat blood disorders. His clinical focus is on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of blood cancers and related disorders. He plans to advance cellular therapies, such as allogeneic stem cell transplant. It is a medical procedure where a patient receives healthy stem cells from a donor to replace their own damaged or diseased stem cells. As the Director of Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Cellular Therapy, Dr. Cingam plans to create a comprehensive program to expand access to cellular therapies, transplants, and clinical trials for patients in North Louisiana and the surrounding region. He is committed to working closely with physicians in the region to improve patient care and outcomes.
