Outpatient Clinic Referrals

The Ochsner LSU Health outpatient referral center provides fast and easy access for referring patients for clinic appointments. Providers or office staff who want to refer a patient to Ochsner LSU Health can contract our client concierge team at 318-626-0118 for any questions or help needed in referring a patient to one of our outpatient settings. For fax referrals, please use our fax line: 318-698-8005. Our outpatient referral center is staffed Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays.

Referring providers with access to Ochsner Provider Connect can enter orders electronically.

Depending on provider preference, the client concierge team can coordinate specialty appointments. This can be done via the office staff or contacting the patient directly.

Our client concierge team will book, register and verify insurance for the patient and capture the referring provider's preference for receiving follow-up post visit and help to close the loop with the referring provider's office post visit.
