Severe Winter Weather Updates

The Ochsner LSU Health Office of Emergency Preparedness is continuing to monitor the upcoming severe winter weather and the impact to our area in the coming days. Now and always, your health is our priority.

Impacted Operations

Due to the severe weather, the following locations have adjusted hours of operations and most Friday, February 4 appointments are being rescheduled.

North Louisiana (Shreveport and Monroe areas)

  • All health centers, clinics, COVID-19 testing and vaccine locations will have modified business hours
  • Outpatient diagnostics and elective surgical procedures are also being rescheduled
  • Urgent Care centers in Shreveport, Bossier City and Monroe will open at noon on Friday, Feb. 4
  • Monroe Walk-In Clinic, located at 4864 Jackson Street, will remain open with normal business hours

Rescheduling Appointments

Our team is currently contacting patients to reschedule canceled appointments.

If your appointment has been canceled, you may:

  • Contact your provider's office
  • Reschedule online through MyChart
  • Ochsner LSU Health patients in Shreveport can also call 318-626-0050 to reschedule appointments and Monroe patients can call 318-330-7168.

Virtual Visits for Urgent Care

Ochsner Anywhere Care is available for virtual visits for urgent care and behavioral health. Download the Ochsner Anywhere Care mobile app on iOS or Android or access the service online through a computer at www.ochsnerlsuhs.org/anywhere.
