Corwin Harper, Regional Chief Executive Officer, Ochsner LSU Health System

Corwin Harper

As chief executive officer, Corwin Harper oversees our healthcare delivery system in our hospitals, primary care centers, urgent cares, as well as our ambulatory surgery and diagnostic centers. Prior to joining Ochsner, Corwin spent 25 years with Kaiser Permanente in multiple executive roles leading physician practice management, health plan management, hospital operations and diversity, equity and inclusion teams.

Additionally, he served for more than eight years as a U.S. Army Officer in the Medical Service Corps in the capacity of a Healthcare Administrator in multiple assignments, including Academic Medicine. He holds an undergraduate degree from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Baylor University.

Chris Mangin, Chief Executive Officer, Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport - Academic Medical Center

Chris Mangin

Chris Mangin oversees the daily operations of our flagship hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center - our Academic Medical Center.

Chris has more than 20 years’ experience in healthcare administrative leadership roles and successfully led our St. Mary Medical Center as CEO for two years. He holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Louisiana State University - Shreveport and a Master of Physical Therapy from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

Riley Waddell, Chief Executive Officer, Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport - St. Mary Medical Center

Waddell, Riley

As chief executive officer of our St. Mary Medical Center, Riley Waddell oversees daily operations and ensures that all our teams have the resources needed to provide the care our patients expect and deserve, and promotes safety and satisfaction with all we do.

Riley has over 10 years of experience in hospital administration. He also performed a vital role in the OB/GYN and pediatric inpatient services move from our Academic Medical Center to our St. Mary Medical Center campus and has continued as a key leader for the hospital. Riley holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Trinity University and a Master of Business Administration from St. Mary’s University.


Mark Randolph, Chief Executive Officer, Ochsner LSU Health in Monroe

Mark Randolph

Mark Randolph oversees the Ochsner LSU Health healthcare delivery system in Monroe, Louisiana including our Monroe Medical Center, as its Chief Executive Officer.

Under Mark's leadership, our system has expanded with several outpatient clinics in the Monroe and West Monroe area. He brings nearly 15 years of experience in senior healthcare leadership and has held positions at our Academic Medical Center for more than 30 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in cardiopulmonary sciences and a Master of Business Administration degree from LeTourneau University.

Keith White, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Ochsner LSU Health - Academic Medical Center

Robert White

As chief medical officer, Keith White, MD, oversees all medical operations of the Academic Medical Center. Dr. White obtained both his undergraduate and post-graduate medical degree from Louisiana State University. He served his surgical internship at the University of Missouri Health Sciences Center in Columbia under Dr. Donald Silver and completed his categorical general surgery training under Dr. John McDonald at LSU Health Shreveport.

After working at the Artificial Heart Research Laboratory in Salt Lake City, Utah, under Dr. William Gay, Dr. White continued and completed his training in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center. Upon completion of his laboratory and clinical experience in Utah, Dr. White joined LSUHSC in Shreveport as Assistant Professor of Surgery and later as Associate Clinical Professor specializing in cardiac transplantation and complex aortic reconstructive surgery. Michael O’Neal, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Ochsner LSU Health - Monroe Medical Center

Michael O'Neal

Michael O’Neal oversees medical operations at Monroe Medical Center as the hospital’s chief medical officer. Dr. O’Neal specializes in internal medicine with a focus in hospital medicine.

Dr. O’Neal is a native of West Monroe, Louisiana, and attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. Learn more about Dr. O’Neal.

LaTashia Upton, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Ochsner LSU Health - St. Mary Medical Center

LaTasha Upton

LaTashia Upton oversees the medical operation of the St. Mary Medical Center campus in Shreveport as the hospital's chief medical officer. Dr. Upton is a board-certified OB/GYN and a native of Shreveport, Louisiana.

She earned her medical doctorate at LSU Health Science Center, where she also completed her residency. Dr. Upton has over 8 years of experience in her practice with Ochsner LSU Health. Learn more about Dr. Upton.


John Shaughnessy, Chief Financial Officer, Ochsner LSU Health System

Shaughnessy, John

As Chief Financial Officer, John Shaughnessy oversees the accounting, financial planning and analysis activities for Ochsner LSU Health System. As a certified public accountant, he brings over a decade of experience in healthcare, including former administrative leadership roles at Christus Health in Alexandria, Louisiana, and McLeod Health and Clarendon Health Systems in South Carolina.

In 2023, Finance and Investing listed Shaughnessy as one of the top 25 CFOs in Louisiana. He was also in the 40-under-40 class in 2022 for the central Louisiana region. Shaughnessy earned bachelor’s degrees in both accounting and finance from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia.
