Dr. Kaur graduated from Christian Medical College, Ludhiana,one of the most prestigious medical schools in India. She moved to the United States in 2010 for advanced training in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins and Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, MD. She then completed fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at University of Louisville, KY, followed by a fellowship in Geriatrics at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She worked as an Endocrinologist and the Director of Diabetes Resource Center at Sinai hospital of Baltimore, MD from 2016 to 2019. She was recognized for outstanding patient care by her patients and colleagues. She was awarded with FACE (Fellow of American College of Endocrinology) in 2019. She is currently working as an Endocrinologist and the Director of Diabetes Initiatives at LSU-Shreveport. As a core clinical faculty member for the Endocrinology fellowship program, she is also involved in teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. She is an active member of the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology.
