Dr. Sachdeva is the Medical Director Interventional Nephrology and Dialysis at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and an Associate Professor in Medicine and Fellowship Director of the Nephrology Fellowship program at Louisiana State University, Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his internship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship at LSUHSC-Shreveport. He has a keen interest in interventional nephrology and has been involved with several publications, regional, national and international meetings where he has presented on peritoneal dialysis, hypertension and vascular access topics. He is very closely involved with national renal societies in United States, ASN, NKF, RPA and ASDIN. Dr. Sachdeva has also chaired interventional meeting at ASN, ASDIN and NKF on several occasions. He’s served on education, communications committee council member in ASDIN. He is involved with Member Network 13 ESRD group and has served on the Medical Review Board. Dr. Sachdeva was also an elected member of ALPHA OMEGA ALPHA, during his residency. He received the Nephrology Young Investigator Forum Award, Southern Society for Clinical Investigation, New Orleans. He was also elected as Resident of the year for the Internal Medicine program, LSUHSC, Shreveport during his residency.
