Dr. Nasir was born and raised in Pakistan and obtained his medical degree from University of Health Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. Before joining McLaren-Flint/Michigan State University as a resident, he did a postdoc fellowship in translational research in hepatitis at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital of Harvard Medical School. He served as chief resident during residency and helped to revise rotational and educational curriculum for internal medicine residency. He was awarded Consummate Physician Award for my exemplary professionalism, patient care, leadership and academic excellence on graduation. On a personal level, he likes to face time his nieces and nephews and enjoy exploring new places.
