Biography

Brionne Blanche, APRN, FNP-C, specializes in family medicine at Ochsner LSU Health. She provides comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan, with a focus on preventive care, health promotion, and the management of acute and chronic conditions. Her clinical interests include hypertension, diabetes, COPD and asthma, as well as pediatric well visits, well-woman exams, and preventive health screenings. She is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care while continuing to grow her clinical knowledge and skills as a provider.

Brionne is a native of Louisiana with South Louisiana roots. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has been an Ochsner LSU Health employee since 2022.

Brionne is dedicated to understanding each patient's individual health concerns, goals, and needs. She believes in building trusting patient-provider relationships and empowering patients to take an active role in their health. Her approach to primary care centers on listening to her patients, understanding the whole person, and working together to develop realistic, individualized plans for their health.

Outside of her professional role, Brionne enjoys spending time with her blended family of seven. She also enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with friends. As a Louisiana native, she enjoys good food and values the importance of family, meaningful relationships, and making time for the people and activities she enjoys most.
