Dr. Concejo comes to us from the University of Texas Southwest where for the last year he has served as the Chief Medical Resident after completing a 3-year residency in internal medicine. He attended medical school in his hometown of Madrid, finishing his studies in Monterrey, Mexico in his last year. After graduating he spent some time in Chile and Guatemala before making his way to the U.S. He is excited for the opportunity to come to Ochsner LSU Health and work as an academic hospitalist. His areas of expertise include clinical reasoning and point of care ultrasound.
