Dr. Previgliano earned his medical degree from National University of Cordoba - Cordoba, Argentina (1978), and a Labor Medicine Degree from the National University of Cordoba - Cordoba, Argentina (1991). Dr. Previgliano has lived and practiced in Shreveport for the past 12 years. He and his wife, Elvira, have three children. His professional interest lies in Thorax / Cardiothoracic Radiology. Dr. Previgliano serves as the Director and General Coordinator of the International Teleconference Program for 56 institutions in 15 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. He is also the Director of the Radiology for Family Medicine Physicians Teleconference Program for 15 universities in 7 states. He is the Coordinator of the Louisiana Academic Radiology teleconference series which includes Ochsner Medical Center, Tulane University, LSU Health New Orleans, and LSU Health Shreveport. Dr. Previgliano serves as Co-Director for the Third-Year Medical Students Radiology Clerkship, the Fourth Year Diagnostic Radiology Electives (LSU and Visiting Students), and as Director for the Diagnostic Radiology Visiting Student Elective, and Director for the Visiting Observership Program at the Department of Radiology, all at LSU Health Shreveport. He is a member of the Lung Cancer Tumor Board, an IRB member, Community Service Committee for the Department of Radiology, and the Cancer Committee of LSU Health Shreveport. He is a Professor of Radiology. He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the Society of Thoracic Radiology of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Argentinian Association of University Professors in Radiology (Founding Member), and the Argentinian Federation of Radiology, Imaging Diagnosis and Radiotherapy Associations. He has published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and book chapters. His research interests include archaeological radiology, lung cancer, and ILD.
