Chanping Liang, MD is Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at LSU Health Shreveport and specializes in diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma related diseases. She graduated from Beijing Medical University and finished her internship and ophthalmology residency at LSU Health Shreveport. She then completed her glaucoma fellowship at UT Southwestern. Dr. Liang uses the latest medical, laser, and surgical treatments to provide comprehensive care for all forms of glaucoma either primary or related to complex eye problems. She is an expert in traditional glaucoma surgery such as trabeculectomy and tube shunt as well as new minimally invasive procedures. She also specializes in the management of all types of complications of glaucoma surgeries. Dr. Liang is responsible, compassionate and strives to improve the quality of life of our glaucoma patients by preserving their vision.
