Dr. Givler graduated from the Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency at Lancaster General Hospital (Lancaster, PA). He has been on the faculty of the residency in Monroe since 1985, serving as Program Director from 1990-2003. One of his particular clinical interests is global health. He is the Co-Director of the Global Health elective rotation at LSU Health Shreveport School of Medicine and spends 1-2 months per year working in Kenya.
