Dr. Zia received his medical degree with honors from The Aga Khan University in 2012. He subsequently completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology from The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and served as chief fellow in his final year of training. He also completed additional training in Advanced Endoscopy at the University of Chicago. Dr. Zia specializes in interventional pancreatico-biliary and luminal endoscopy. Dr. Zia’s clinical interests include pancreatico-biliary disorders, therapy and palliation of gastrointestinal malignancies, endoscopic techniques and innovations. He is actively involved in education of medical students and trainees. He is board certified in Internal medicine and Gastroenterology.
