I first graduated from college with a business degree and realized that this was not a passion and later decided to pursue a career in healthcare. After finishing nursing school I became pregnant with our first child and my life was never the same. While working as a clinic nurse with the doctors of OB/GYN Specialists, I quickly found my love for nursing in Women's Health. Being in this capacity allowed me to learn what I had been told by my grandfather & that if you find a job you love, you never work a day in your life. This has remained true since I began this journey. I truly have a passion for helping women in all stages: from puberty, through pregnancy, and lastly into their stages of menopause. Watching the true circle of life happen is awe-inspiring and I am eager to continue my practice with Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport. Outside of work I enjoy camping and being outdoors with my husband, Adam, and my two daughters, Mabry and Madelyn.
