Dr. Cuellar completed his internship and residency at University of Nuevo Leon and fellowship training at LSUHSC-NO and Hospital Nuestra Senora del Rosario in Spain. He received his Master’s in Neuroscience from the University of Madrid and a PhD in Medicine (Neuroscience) from the University of Santiago de Compostela Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Prior to joining LSU Health Sciences Center, he worked for the Department of Endovascular Therapy at Hospital Nuestra Senora del Rosario in Madrid, Spain.His clinical interests include Endovascular therapy in Cerebral and Spinal vascular malformations, brain aneurysms, stroke, brain, head, and neck tumors, as well as an interest in Percutaneous treatment of lumbago.
