Dr. Junaid Ansari specializes in vascular neurology and neurocritical care at Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he provides advanced care for patients with acute ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, and other complex neurological emergencies.Dr. Ansari has subspecialty training in neurocritical care and is completing fellowship training in interventional neuroradiology, focusing on minimally invasive, image-guided treatments such as mechanical thrombectomy and cerebral aneurysm repair. His goal is to deliver cutting-edge care that improves outcomes for patients facing life-threatening neurological conditions.In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ansari is actively involved in translational and clinical research.
