Dr. Kalgi Modi practices cardiology and interventional cardiology at Louisiana State University Health, Shreveport. Dr. Modi received her fellowships credentials from Louisiana State University and University of Birmingham Alabama. Dr. Modi is Board Certified Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Modi’s practice is unique in its diversification with focuses in clinical care, diagnosis, treatment, and research development in women specially focusing on pregnancy and heart disease. Dr. Modi performs non-coronary interventions of Patent Foramen Ovale and Atrial Septal Defect closure. Dr. Modi serves as the director of cardiovascular and interventional cardiology fellowship programs. Dr. Modi also serves as a director of echocardiography laboratory and cardiac telemetry unit.
