Dr Maroun J. Mhanna is a graduate of St Joseph University school of Medicine, Beirut Lebanon, and a holder of a Master’s degree in Public Health. He completed his training in Pediatrics at Metro Health Medical Center, and pursued a fellowship in Neonatology and a fellowship in Pediatric Critical at Rainbow Babies & Children’s hospital, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Ohio. Dr Mhanna is Board certified in Pediatrics, Neonatal Perinatal medicine and Pediatric Critical Care. He was a faculty member at the Department of Pediatrics at Metro Health, and a Professor of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University, before joining LSU in 2020. His research interest is in invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, neonatal lung disease and neonatal acute kidney injury.
