Dr. Michael Stratton is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at LSU Health Shreveport. He was born and raised in southern Indiana. He attended college and medical school at Indiana University graduating in 1992. He completed residency training in general surgery and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO, in 1998. Upon completing his fellowship, Dr. Stratton moved to Shreveport to begin practice in colon and rectal surgery. He is board certified in general and colon and rectal surgery. He is program director for the fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at LSU Shreveport. Dr. Stratton resides in Shreveport with his wife and three children.
