Ochsner LSU Health Patient Verified Reviews

4.5/5
90 Ratings 20 Comments

To obtain patient ratings and comments, we partner with Press Ganey, an independent patient satisfaction company that works with more than 26,000 healthcare organizations to improve the patient experience. These patient verified ratings are based on the “likelihood to recommend” physician scores on the nationally developed CAHPS Clinician & Group Survey (CG-CAHPS). Actual top box results for this question are translated to a 1-5 scale, and the star scores are measured on that scale, with 5 being the best score.

I am the niece of the patient. My uncle has not been taking care of himself properly and missed appointments with this provider that resulted in his illness to have gotten worse so because of this I feel the doctor was very short and not empathetic to my uncles situation. As I was trying to lighten the mood by making him aware that I will be his caregiver now and making sure he makes his appointments as we try and better his health, I don't feel that really made a difference but the nurses on the other hand showed true concern.

The Doctor I seen seemed to not not be interested. He was vey quick.. I told him what was going on, but it's like he had his decision made before coming in the exam room. I drove 2.5 hours to here the same thing my PCM told me. I referred there because my reason for the visit was deemed serious enough to see someone in the vascular department.
