Snigdha Reddy Likki, MBBS

Snigdha Reddy Likki, MD, FAAP is chief of Pediatric Endocrinology at LSU Health Shreveport and a board-certified pediatric endocrinologist specializing in the care of children and adolescents with diabetes, growth disorders, pubertal disorders, thyroid disease, adrenal disorders and other endocrine conditions. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care.

Dr. Likki earned her medical degree from Mamata Medical College in Telangana, India. She completed her pediatric residency at Nassau University Medical Center and fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology at UMass Chan Medical School/Baystate Children's Hospital.

As an academic physician, Dr. Likki is actively involved in medical education, mentoring medical students and residents and promoting scholarly activity among trainees. Her academic interests include pediatric diabetes, growth and pubertal disorders, endocrine education, quality improvement, and clinical research. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations, serves as Associate Editor for Wiley Clinical Case Reports, and is a Principal Investigator for clinical research studies.

Dr. Likki is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She is also a member of the Southern Society for Clinical Investigation and Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society.

In addition to her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Likki is actively involved in professional leadership and service. She currently serves as secretary of the Northwest Louisiana Pediatric Society and previously served as vice president. She also contributes to institutional committees focused on medical education, faculty development, wellness, mentorship, and academic advancement. Outside of medicine, Dr. Likki enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, photography and painting.
