My interest in women’s health stems from being raised by a single mother, surrounded by five
generations of female relatives. I saw firsthand the unique conditions women experience.
OB/GYN is an expansive field which allows me to participate in all phases of a woman’s life.
My particular interests are minimally invasive surgery, high risk pregnancies, and female sexual
health.
My career requires many hours away from my own family. Therefore, I regard my patients as family
members. Before any medical advice is given, I consider what I would personally want for my relative
or friend.
After college, I married Chris, my high school sweetheart. We have been blessed with four sons and
enjoy traveling, watching football, and time with family and friends. As an only child, I relish rare
moments of quiet time for reading, needlepoint or going for a run.
