Sungho Lee, MD, PhD is a neurosurgeon specializing in neurosurgical oncology. He received his MD and PhD degrees from Case Western School of Medicine. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine. During residency, he performed NIH-funded research at MD Anderson Cancer Center, resulting in high-impact publications and presentations at national meetings. He uses advanced technologies to treat brain tumors including stereotactic radiosurgery, laser interstitial thermal therapy, awake language and motor mapping, and fluorescence-guided surgery. He performs basic and clinical research to understand the role of the immune system in glioma, the most common and aggressive form of brain cancer. He is currently accepting patients for brain and spine tumors as well as all other general neurosurgery needs. He looks forward to serving the North Louisiana community by providing the best care for his patients.
