MONROE, La. – Ochsner LSU Health is proud to announce a new partnership with University of Louisiana Monroe Athletics to provide care for athletics on and off the field.  The relationship strengthens Ochsner LSU Health's commitment to supporting student-athletes and advancing access to specialized orthopedic and sports medicine care across Northeast Louisiana. 

Through this collaboration, Ochsner LSU Health will work alongside ULM Athletics to support the health, wellness and performance of Warhawk student-athletes as the in-game provider of orthopedic and sports medicine care. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to excellence, innovation and community impact.

They have come in and changed the game for our sports medicine department, been able to work with our other medical partners on campus and continued to support students on campus across the board,” said ULM Athletic Director SJ Tuohy. 

This agreement expands on the existing care Ochsner LSU Health provides through ULM HawkHealth, which offers basic primary care services as well as immunizations, laboratory services, prescription/medication pick up and general health screenings to all ULM students and employees. 

Ochsner LSU Health continues to expand access to high-quality healthcare throughout Northeast Louisiana, offering comprehensive orthopedic and sports medicine services designed to help patients prevent injuries, recover faster and return to the activities they enjoy.
