SHREVEPORT, La. – Ochsner LSU Health is pleased to welcome Jestin Williams, MD, an orthopedic spine surgeon and orthopedic oncologist, to its growing team of specialists serving patients across North Louisiana.

Dr. Williams provides comprehensive care for patients with spinal conditions and musculoskeletal tumors, offering both surgical and nonsurgical treatment options tailored to each patient's unique needs. 

Dr. Williams practices at Ochsner LSU Health – Viking Drive, located at 4481 Viking Drive in Bossier City. 

Dr. Williams specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of spinal conditions, including degenerative spine disease, spinal stenosis, herniated discs, spinal deformity and scoliosis, spinal trauma and spinal tumors. His surgical expertise includes open and minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal decompression and fusion, endoscopic spine surgery and motion-preserving procedures. He works closely with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan based on their diagnosis, symptoms and goals. 

In addition to his spine practice, Dr. Williams provides specialized care for patients with bone and soft tissue tumors, including sarcomas and metastatic cancer involving the extremities, pelvis and spine. His advanced fellowship training in orthopedic oncology enables him to treat complex musculoskeletal cancers and spinal oncology conditions close to home. 

"My goal is to provide individualized care that helps patients better understand their condition, explore their treatment options and achieve the best possible outcomes," said Dr. Williams. "Building strong relationships with patients and their families is an important part of that process." 

Dr. Williams received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He went on to complete fellowship training in orthopedic oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and orthopedic spine surgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
