Our intensive care unit (ICU) team ensures that each adult patient in our ICU is under the care of one of our intensivists. If you or a loved one is a patient at Ochsner LSU Health - Monroe Medical Center, our teleICU program ensures patients receive the support they need from our pulmonologists and intensive care specialists.

We are also the region’s only Center of Excellence for life support as recognized by the Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ELSO), which demonstrates our dedication to exceptional patient care.
