["Dr. Jordan's education and training include a Neurocritical Care Fellowship from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine","Chief Resident of Neurology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine","a Neurology Residency and Internship in Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine","MD and PhD degrees from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.\r\n\r\nDr. Jordan's previous experience includes serving as Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Vice Chair of Strategy and Analytics and as Medical Director of the Neuroscience Clinical Service Unit at Duke University. In addition, he served as the Physician Champion, Mortality Reduction at UNC Medical Center and UNC Health and as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Neurology at John Hopkins School of Medicine. Editorial board appointments include Neurocritical Care, World Journal of Critical Care Medicine and Frontiers in Neurology.\r\n\r\nDr. Jordan has a track record of strong engagement on institutional committees to include but not limited to Diversity and Inclusion, Margin Improvement, Finance, Mortality, Practice Integration, Compensation, Quality Improvement, and Organ Donor Resources. Research funding sources include the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), Department of Defense (DOD), numerous pharma companies, UNC Cancer Research Fund, and the V Foundation for Cancer Research.\r\n\r\nHis current research interests include 1) optimization of medication dosing in patients with acute neurological illness through study of the effect of critical illness on pharmacokinetics of commonly use medications and 2) in identifying key opportunities and subsequent development of tools by applying health analytics and artificial intelligence to generate algorithms to assist in clinical decision making."]
