Dr. Gunji is a radiologist specializing in interventional radiology and oncology. He completed his Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, diagnostic radiology residency at Saint Louis University, and surgery internship at Sinai Hospital/Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He completed a radiology clerkship at the UCSF-University of California San Francisco and earned his medical degree from Gandhi Medical College. Dr. Gunji also completed a research internship at Stanford University in California involving molecular imaging and contributing to cancer imaging and stem cell imaging. Dr. Gunji’s research interests include cancer therapy, artificial intelligence in radiology, new technology to improve minimally invasive procedures, and molecular imaging. He has presented his articles nationally and internationally, most recently presenting at the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) meeting in Barcelona, Spain. Dr. Gunji is actively involved in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. Dr. Gunji is a member of the following radiological societies: Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), American College of Radiology (ACR), American Medical Association (AMA), American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), New York Roentgen Society (NYRS), Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), and European Society of Radiology (ESR).
