Dr. W. Christopher Newman, MD was born in Orlando, Florida and completed his undergraduate training at Harvard University before returning to Florida for medical school where he graduated from the University of Florida with Honors in research. He then completed neurosurgical training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and went on to complete a fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He has interests in brain tumors, spine tumors, radiosurgery for tumors, and general neurosurgery.
