In our effort to maintain our commitment to putting Patients First, we have implemented the following changes to our normal billing and collection practices for all patients during the COVID-19 crisis:
Payment can be made by check or through credit cards. Payment information is listed at the top of your statement.
You can now create your own estimates for certain procedures and verify your benefits real time quickly and securely using the Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport website or the MyChart mobile app.
Payment can also be made by phone with a credit card. Call our Customer Service Department if you wish to pay by phone. Call 318-654-6760.

Unless specifically indicated, Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport will spread payments across all outstanding account balances, beginning with the oldest balance, similar to what happens with a credit card balance.
Each billing statement will also show payments that Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport has received and applied to specific accounts as long as a balance is due.
Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport does not send zero balance statements unless requested by the guarantor.
